"Focus" from Sar's Linear Series

Linear Series is the first series created by J.M. Sar early in his art career. Originally painted with acrylic on 11x14 paper, each piece has been resized and edited for 8x10 frames. Focus is an acrylic painting that pushes Sar's audience to 'focus' on the larger picture - the choice of yellow highlights and blue shadows. Sar plays with the audience's eyes hoping they can focus on the painting as a whole.
