Linear Series is the first series created by J.M. Sar early in his art career. Originally painted with acrylic on 11x14 paper, each piece has been resized and edited for 8x10 frames. Sunset Sandbar is one of Sar's first acrylic paintings and the first of the Linear Series. It was also the first original art piece to become a print and sold. Sar, to this day, likes this one least, only because he sees the novice mistakes. But, to some, that is what makes this girl with the fiery hair worth the attention.
